My Artist!

I recently attended the 7th Annual Brew Fest at The Old State House in Hartford. It's just steps from my workplace and on a warm June evening, a relaxing way to pass the time. My own in-house artist, my husband, does the art work for the event. He has his own advertising & design business and works from home in his newly renovated studio. His creativity and life style are my envy and inspiration! Here are some fun pics from the event...

My co-workers: Joe, Arkeya, Angela, Christian Roby

What fun! Love that you posted a pic of your co-workers! How lucky for you both that your husband can work from home!

G'day - really enjoyed your comment about the six degrees of separation.

Great that you have an in-house artist with so much flair.

I am a career journalist, so I have a great appreciation for design.

I hv been to Hartford ages ago! I used to be in the same line as yr husband. Still do designing but really in-house as in our house & mainly for my family or the kids' school. I do enjoy it more as less stressful.

Happy Anniversary Marie Louise! I really enjoyed your comment about the wood paneling. Ironic that my one year anniversary is coming up too, and I resonate deeply with your "about me" sentiments re career change. That's fun when your loved one does something special to celebrate...Especially when it involves beer! Happy holiday weekend...Jamie

Looks like a lot of fun, just looking at your site has me missing Connecticut. We almost went there for vacation instead of Mammoth Lakes, sigh.

OMG! Did somebody say Brew Fest? Now that sounds like my kind of festival! Wish I was there to sample all of the yummy ales. I think the only American beer I've tried is Bud. I liked it! Be keen to sample others. Sure seems everyone there is having a lovely time. All look very happy. But then why wouldn't they be happy with beers in hand :D

Looks fabulous! I love a good brewfest - we had one in our neighborhood a few weeks ago but since it 100 degrees out and I had a toddler with me it didn't sound like too much fun at the time!
