Clapton Live!

Had a date with my husband last night and saw Eric Clapton live at the Mohegan Sun Casino. The man once referred to as "God" (don't mean to offend anyone here) played for two and a half hours and I must admit he and his band were incredible. I have also recently read his biography and in between, above and around all the sex and drugs, is the rock and roll. He is a man obsessed with music and hearing him play for the first time just blew me away. He is, the real deal.

(Clapton 1970s)

(With Patty Boyd Harrison Clapton)

So jealous. But you've just inspired me to put his Unpluugged CD in the car... haven't listened in a while.

What fun! There's nothing like a live music venue to get the spirit going into overdrive! I'm a HUGE lover of all music-such varied taste, so I attend a concert or two a month from big to small.

I take it Senor Clapton would be on your "stranded on an island" cd collection....!
Thanks for stopping by! Love your pursuit of passion!

Sounds like a perfect date! My brother would be jealous as he's a HUGE Eric Clapton fan. Nothing beats seeing your fave musicians live. Listening to their CDs is wonderful but seeing them in concert is truly a magical experience. Glad you had such a fun night & the 'Guitar God' rocked your world! :D

Patty Boyd .. my "teen" memories (and your caption) tell me she was married to George Harrison, the great Beatle! That was back in the late 60ties ..

I saw clapton myself once in the
90's.It was a great show.-I saw some of the show he did with Steve Winwood recently and that looked like a good one to see.-It was on pbs.
